Lowrance Elite-5 HDI rigging question
Have the Elite-5 HDI. Nice fishfinder, love it. Even without the downscan, the larger screen and resolution is a great upgrade over the 4. For the large blue transducer and power connectors, want to run the cable through the hull. What sort of waterproof/clam through hull do I need to get for these large connectors? Would this work best? http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...7#.Usq8p3kVJCg Or something like this? I don't think the connector will fit through here? http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...7#.Usq8t3kVJCg Or maybe this thing? http://www.kayakfishingsupplies.com/...clam%29/Detail Thanks in advance. |

I have the same finder and i used
http://m.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/s...FQ1yQgod6j4AZw http://www.kayakfishingsupplies.com/...olutionsMobile You have to make a 1" hole for the cap. The big blue connector goes through fine. It's not waterproof but add some silicon and you can fix that. |
