I like how you have your front rod holders set up

Do you find that they are strong enough if you get a big one on? Are they out of the way of your knees? Thanks. Good travels.

Rod holders work OK like this, but not as strong as I would like. The ball can slip a bit from time to time, and the left one can unscrew itself since I have on the track. Wish they had a Ram ball for the track that tightened the opposite way. The right rod holder only tightens if you pull back, the left one can unscrew. I try to get them as tight as I can and just try to get a hand on the rod just in case.

Light tackle is no problem.

And yes, they are adjusted so they don't hit my feet or knees.
