Out with the Ugly Stick In with the Seeker

My Ugly Stick has been good to me, but After talking to a few people and looking at a lot of rods, I came to a decision and purchased a 7 foot 15-30 Seeker, Hercules series. Since my Avet MX reel had to go in for servicing and wouldn't be out in time for my Halibut tournament Saturday, I ended up buy an Avet SX to go with it. I love the combo, can't keep my hand off of it. I've been molesting it for two days now. Saturday can't come fast enough. I can't wait to tug with it.

I just looked a Cal Star Rod today. I really like it too. I think I may get that one to pair up with my MX.
