Used batteries
They work great, but come with no guarantee! I have been using this same type of batt for a while with no problems. It lasts me all day (over 12 hrs) without showig any sign of it being tired. The cost is FREE! Hit me up @ the launch to claim one or two, or shoot me a reply and I will save one for you. I did a search on the unit and this is what it is (top pic). http://www.batterywholesale.com/batt...tml?prodID=398 I might have a few of the same AH and V but a different make and model. Also, For the last 3 years I have been using a dc power supply to charge my batteries. It is 12v and 100ma. http://www.bb-elec.com/product.asp?sku=485PS2 These things work great! Just hook it up the night before you plan to use it, and in several hours it is charged. I can get these too if anyone needs one. Mark |

For free? I'll take one. How much for a charger?
I think I'll rip appart the old UPS at work to see what kind of batteries it has inside. I have a feeling they're a little too big to bring on a kayak though. |

I could always use more power.
If the offer still stands I will take you up on it. Perhaps we could barter(block of cheese loaf of bread). Send me a (pm) if you have one left. I will also be at the launch friday at five a.m. so say hi.

For free

I too would like to try one of these batteries. I think the extra amps would be great. Thanks Paul |
