Can a Prius tow a small kayak trailer - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I bought a pro angler off of a guy down in Chula Vista. He pulled his PA and outback on a modified pwc trailer with a Prius.

YES definately I tow my PA with my wife's Matrix 32MPG - tongue weight 300 lbs...very easy on your back!

Been doing this for over a year now, no problems. If your car is still under warranty, call the warranty center and have them put it in an email that it is OK. This is what I did when I bought my Prius in 2012. The manual states the Prius is not recommended for towing - whatever

. What the warranty center stated was, as long as what you're towing doesn't exceed the normal maximum combined passenger weight, you are fine. Go for it.

Have you thought about roof racks? You always have parking issues with a trailer. I'v hauled two kayaks on top of my toyota and Kia many times.
