Biggest goat I've ever seen.and considering the CA Record is 30lbs, you've probably caught the largest one from a kayak!

I forgot that sheepshead are sex changing trannies, I thought it was a girl until she took her clothes off! Boy was my face red

Thanks for the congrats fellas! I couldn't help opening up my cooler lid ever ten minutes before filleting it, I couldn't believe the size and weight of it. I saved the jaws, gonna try to make a mount or something

Check out my recipe on the general board. Came out awesome!

Nice and even nicer sheeps head! Cut out the jaws and dry em out..... they end up super cool!

Any chance you saw this thread?

http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/s...ad.php?t=11368

Let me know if you have time to donate a sample.... I can show you around our new lab just up the hill from Scripps Pier... we have baby yellows in our aquarium which are fun to feed

Oh and in case anyone was wondering if your reports are being noticed:

Copied from Fish Dope last night and today:

La Jolla / Point Loma
Squid, Seabass and Yellowtail are showing again in the Cove and Crystal Pier in the very early morning. They are with the squid so find the bait and stick with it. The fish will find you.”

For what it's worth the timing of the post on Fish Dope lines up with the timing of the reports posted on this website! Prob not a coincidence but I thought it was interesting
