I went by or called the "local" places today about pricing on Avet Sx with a reel full of basic spectra.

The place on midway priced it to me with 50lb specra out the door at just under $200.

The place on Barnett St had it out the door with whatever Spectra I wanted for $173, except they didn't have any in stock today.

So there you have it the local options over Amazon.

its always nice to help out the local shops rather than amazon/ebay. i'd pay extra to keep my local tackle store in business. they give me some priceless intel on fishing in mexico/coronados that is worth every extra penny i've spent.

Am i missing something here.. Avet MSRP for the SX is 159.99.. how is that also an on sale price?

I picked one up from bob sands a few mo ago for $165 spooled up with 50lb power pro.

The silver one is on sale. If click on the link then the Silver color it is on sale. The others are 159.99

M&M Custom Rods has SX Blems for $125. They had about 6 or so when I left thee at 1530 today. He spooled it with 50lb braid for $20. I was out the door for $156 and change.

Colds were blue/silver and black/purple mostly. One pink/silver available if that's your kind of thing....
