You might want to go with out any fishing gear and see
What your kayak does, and doesn't do, in the surf. Get a feel For how the yak handles with waves from all angles. Seriouly, the best surprise is no surprise. Mike |

I was told never use a paddle lanyard in the surf zone...it is very dangerous...thanks for the reminder...glad you made it in safe.
