Yea what he said! Break out the steel leader wire with a HUGE hook on it and half a yellowtail!
Actually, I was on a charter out of San Diego a bunch of years back and we were killing small yellowtail. One of the deck hands spotted a shark fin and hooked the better half of a Bonita on a big honkin hook and chucked it right in front of the sharks path. He didn't hook up but I was rather impressed with the accuracy displayed with the cast. Not sure what kind of shark it was but it was a sizable dorsal fin and the tail fin was certainly not a Thresher. |

Ive heard if you urinate in the water it can attract sharks. It resembles a fish panicking and or being attacked.
Kinda like bears with menstration but sharks and pee....

hahaha, was browsing this thread and thought that it was funny that right before I had a thresher circle my kayak and take my flylined mackerel, I peed off my yak... I have always thought there was something to this theory.
