No strange fishing gear here, unless you count catching a fatty trout on a 1/2 oz saltwater firetiger-patterned spoon with a 4/0 treble hook! I was just playing with it to get a feel for its sink and presentation at different retrieve speeds. Felt it load up and had a pleasant surprise when it hit the surface. I was using 10lb braid at the time, so I just reeled it all the way back. No fight whatsoever - just felt like a lot of dead weight.

So what is the "story" behind that racket? It looks like the asymmetric sweetspot would be unbalanced and difficult to hit a good topspin (or backspin) shot.
