Easter on the water?

Who's doing what on Easter Sunday?

I sell cars for a living so having a weekend day off for me is about as rare as a albino yellowtail.

So who's going where on Easter Sunday? Lake? Ocean?

Weather reports that it might rain on Friday and Saturday before Easter. Anybody have any thoughts on how Easter will be? I'm interested in hitting the Ocean but if it's gonna be nutty I'll pick another day.

Still planning on heading out on Easter. Weather man says we might get a little rain on Friday and Saturday but Sunday still looks good.

Anybody else heading out? Any suggestions? Would love to chase some Calicos, maybe a Flatty or? DP? LJ? San Diego?

Who's going where?

Dude.....just get out and fish.

Rain: bring waterproof clothing
High Winds: stay close to shore
High Surf: Don't do what GregAndrew does. In other words, don't launch/land when he launches/lands................trust me on this one.

Most if not all of the guys that I fish with have families, full-time jobs and cannot sit around and wait for it to be sunny and 75degrees with a light breeze blowing in from the west. Get your gear ready, prepare for the worst and fish.

its something like only 40% chance of rain.

60% chance it won't rain right?

100% chance you catch no fish sitting at home.

I ended up playing it safe and headed to Vail Lake. Had a GREAT day. Caught a couple dozen bass, a MONSTER crappie and two monster catfish. Interesting that these are the first two catfish I've ever caught on plastics.

Today was a beautiful day on the water - no fish, other than tons of bait and dozens of sealions. Got good exercise the way I look at it...
