There are two sets of reefs out of the O'side harbor, one to the WNW, AR2, and one to the WSW, AR1. AR2 has some reefs in about 65-70 feet of water but I've never gotten any rockfish there. AR1 has some spots as deep as 120ft. I've only been to that area once and was trying for a T but didn't find one. You can find the long/lat locations is numerous places.

This winter the reefs got hit kind of heavy by the party boats, first time I've ever seen them fish the reefs, so they may be a little depleted. I'm in the mood for some O'side fishing though and got some intel on some other possible locations, up for some scouting? Can't promise success, but it will be a new area to try out. It is about a three mile trek though.

Launching in Cbad can either be really easy or totally suck. I've been on both ends of that stick and the latter, especially in winter is not fun. It's close to us North County guys but it's not the fishery that LJ is.
