That's insane! Just wondering, what do you have for lights in this situation? I've seen those lighted sticks/flag people have on their yaks. I know there is some kind of light color regulations for boats? Red, green, or white... Right? Does the same apply for kayaks? Thanks.

Rules of the Road - Rule 25 (d) (ii)

A vessel under oars...shall have ready at hand an electric torch or lighted lantern showing a white light which shall be exhibited in sufficient time to prevent collision
