Bass and Brew 2013 (not Yakfest)

I want float an idea by the crew. I know the owners of Aztec Brewing in Vista. I helped them out last year and they said to let them know if they could do something for me.
Here's my idea.In early June, meet at Oceanside harbor and go out and fish the artificial reefs for Calicos, Sand Bass and Butts. At a desiginated time we leave and meet at Aztec to BBQ and have some brews ! We can BBQ outside the brewery. If someone has some Yellowtail or WSB on the day of the event that would be great. Paul the brewer said he loves . He will brew up a special one off brew for us. Im thinking a wheat with a hint of Kafir Lime leaves. It should go with anything. I'm partial to porters and stouts but a wheat would be lighter if it is hot.
There are more details to work out like prices and dates. And who brings what. Please feel free to share your thoughts and questions. Again this is just a first step.
Again this is NOT YAKFEST! It's Bass and Brew! Hopefully

Patrick

How about a Ginger lemon Weizen. Whitelabs German Hefeweizen yeast brewed with a traditional Hefeweizen and spiced with ginger and lemon zest? just an idea. The bass and brew is a good idea too!

Welcome

All will be welcome. May have my brother bring a couple of Webers to Aztec. He doesn't kayak fish, but he BBQ as well as home brew. That would make it easier. Fewer folks to cart around yaks a Q's.
