Nice one Dave . Is that a new yak I see? Didn't waste any time christening it.
I was considering this trip, but opted to be a responsible employee instead and not ditch work. Thanks for making me regret my decision.

SCI-
Way to go dave-
Corey-The day had it's moments, but very windy in the afternoon- One just legal butt for me and plenty of bass+ about 50+ lb mako on the rapalla-got him up close and he probably is still wearing my rapalla on the fin we went to the calm side of the island and it was like another world- The jackpot was a 28# WSB caught on a plastic while calico fishing Dave

Nice. Those Makos are a bot nerve-wracking, huh? Who caught the WSB? Was the fishing bad on the Leeward side?

Leeward side-
I don't know who caught the seabass-but it was late in the day on the leeward side up close to the rocks-the mako was on that side as well, but all I know about other than that were calicos- The yellows were early-10:00ish in the day- Big (25+lbs) flattie was deep-100 feet on live sardine-around noon- No live squid and that would have helped the counts alot--- Leeward side was alive with dogs, and dolphins chasing flying fish-i almost got nailed by a flying fish --it veered off at the last second-if I had a net I could have grabbed it-no serious boils, but lots of bait, so it was just a matter of time and ours ran out---
