Cabrillo

anyone fished cabrillo lately for halibut? How is it out there? Last year around this time, halibut were being pulled out like nothing.

Pretty slow from what I hear. Very nice bait at the receiver....I think a couple of guys got a couple small ones today.

you guys refer to cabrillo...is there a place to launch over there or do you launch off of shelter island and paddle over to cabrillo area ?

That'd be quite a paddle! They are talking about Cabrillo Beach in LA.
