I just picked up a beautiful load of seasoned Oak. I know I'm only a one nighter but I'm good for a nice Saturday batch...

not sure but I'm trying to see if I can make it. Friday-Sunday or Saturday morning-Sunday.
Do you think that there will be enough camping spaces since its a tournament weekend?
Also... is anyone packing a generator? I dont have one but am looking for a way to keep my FF battery charged.

Mike

We should bring a 3000 W generator so we can fish some trout.

When you run out of ff juice, just keep fishing. They have done that for a few years before ff became popular.

Brian (son) and I will be there Friday and sat .night. Fish sat and part day on Sunday.

What happens when my gps/ff runs out of juice and I can't find my way back?

We're going to leave a trail of bread crumbs for you to follow.

Update

As of right now Tuesday 1:00pm there is a high wind warning until tonight at 10:00pm.

Also a wind advisory that will expire at 10:00pm thursday night.

I would say lets go for it, if the forecast on thursday says 15mph winds or less, anymore than that would just be a lesson in pure...PAIN. If it is more than 15mph I would say lets postpone until we get a better weather. From the forecast right now it looks good...but that can all change in a blink.

As far as food goes...Everybody should be responsible for their breakfast and lunch. As far as dinner I think we can all get together and share. Bring anything you want, lets cook it up !

When we do these trips we don't come out here to starve..that's for sure. We usually eat pretty good out here. This is what I usually do for food: For breakfast, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, milk, juice...Lunch is usually hamburgers hotdogs, chips, drinks. Dinner is usually steak or pork chops/lobster/fish...potato/salad...stuff like that.

If anybody has any suggestions I'm open for them. Anybody wants to make something special for the group I'm good with that, or if everybody wants to just bring food for themselves that's ok too. Give me a heads up on your plans.

By the way I will be bringing my weber Q for grilling stuff, and my camp chef for cooking.
