Castaic surf report

A few of us were enjoying the day until the wind machine cranked it up.

Slow fishing for every body .........I think I won the jackpot with this dink.

I don't know what side of the lake you were on. Not a hint of wind in my private cove

Landwhale didn't seem too bothered by it either

I did get a chuckle when I saw this guy trying to head out though

Thanks Andy for being my Yak Sherpa

cool vid but what with the shower curtains on the side of the vid??

I use to fish Castaic alot, and the winds can be brutal enough to swamp a bass boat on plane.. looked a little chilly???

Ans a jackpot dink is worth every penny..

That's actually pretty mild I've seen it when the dock was bouncing up and down so much you couldn't get on it. Say any big ones yet? Keep hitting it and you'll get one.

We were there on sunday, but the wind was blowing in the oposite direction, and we came back in it, same conditions, got some hints though on what to use now, as the shad are dying off..hint hint...let me know when you are heading back, I would like to hit it again, the wind is supposed to pickup this weekend though...
