bosshoss, those are pismo clams. I did it twice before. You just pretty just get in and move your feet around until you feel a stone, and its most likely a clam.
Cleaning and cooking is a bit of a pain though. Tastes okay in a chowder. Maybe I'll try fried clams the next time I go get some. |
