Wait a minute. . . that beach launch looks familiar. Is that baby beach in DP????

If so that monster bug is even more impressive. I've never caught anything more than a 3 5/16" carapace keeper there.

Way to go

Yep, thats the spot. Have been there over 2 dozen times total, second trip this year and now have 2 keepers last year and 4 so far this year. And dont know the weight. Kitchen scale maxes out at 6 lbs and it was heavier than that and bathroom scale is retarded because it said it weighs 2lbs which we all know is wrong so i dont know. 19 inches long and 4 inches across spine to spine on tail. Getting him out of the net he got my foot with his tail and i will now have a scar with 2 spots 4 inches across lol

99% of my bugs I catch at DP are 3 3/16" . Why are they almost always only 1 mm shy of legal?!
Nice job, danjor.

Idk why but they all are just shy of legal!!! Every trip i catch 100's of short lobsters there. First pull 3rd net had 23 yes 23 short lobsters all short by less than 1/4 inch but deff short, and every one was exact same size, i dont get why there not bigger but alteast its something to catch and think next year you will be mine lol

WTG. That's easily the biggest bug I've ever seen from that area. Congrats.
