that is a nice sized bonito!!!!! i might go out to LJ and try to use trout gear to fight those. nice catch!

I made a bug bait run in LJ during Sunday's incoming tide. A bit breezy with (3) fellow yakkers and a few boats also out there. Got the boney, a dozen 1-2# greenies and 100+ Spaniards (Hobie tank topped off). The only rigs I brought were Sabiki's, torpedos and a bass rod. I marked a lot of bait at 30+ feet but zero life on the surface. Sounded real slow for the guys I talked to.
