Last week at DP I was catching senorita wrasse also w/ the sabiki. 1st time after several yrs of fishing there. Didn't get a chance to use it as bait so I'll never know. Later sabiki'ed giant sardines. Where are the sp & gr macs? Haven't made any for over a month!
Thanks for vid & report.

That first fish looks like a rock wrasse. the rest senoritas. I've heard they a decent bait for lings. Never heard of any one using them for bass r top water. Match the hatch and give it a try. Mike

the bait boat was closer to shore then normal. There is a bait bait not to far from the kelp bed as always. Hope that brings in bigger fish.

Tim I have been bringing two cheap new sabikis in the boat so if I don't have the Sabiki rod, I tie it on to a bass rod I brought, sabiki rods are great but they doo take up a spot....

ya no bait tank yet...figured it be to much of a hassle to make 1 bait at a time. Figure i can always just stick the sabiki in the hull through the rod pod to get it out of the way. When you makin a run out to DP? Let's fish!
