hobie revo FF mounting options?

Just got a new FF, went with the Lowrance Elite 4. How have you Revo guys mounted your FF?

I want to have the ducer in the water, as I've heard that you lose 20% or so signal according to the guy at BPS. Truth to this?

I've read that the mad frog liberator is nice to have the ducer in the water, but haven't seen any pictures of it.

Please post pics if you got em, my lazy ass is a visual learner today. Gotta get ready for LJ next weekend

removed the left side mesh install ram ball, drill a hole slap a cable clam on it and bam you good to go.
