Where do the seals hang out in Long Beach?

I'm running my neice and nephew out on our boats and they'll get a kick out of seeing 'em.

I've heard they hang out along the breakwater or such . . . . maybe S of the Queen Mary . . . but I don't know if it's good info.

Can anyone confirm? LB cross-street locator like, 'On the breakwater off Cherry Ave. etc.' will help.

probably nowhere when you want them there, but everywhere when you don't (aka fishing)
good luck!

Green marker buoy just south of the Cabrillo bait barge. There are always a bunch of them there, you will know you are getting close by the aroma.

There are Sealions on both the Green and Red channel buoys inside the San Pedro Light. There are Harbor Seals on the rocks just around the corner (pier 400) from there. Pier 400 is the area of land directly inside the West harbor entrance of the breakwall. The buoys mark the shipping channel on the West side of 400 and the Seals are on the East side of that part of 400.
