do you guys use regular nets or eclipse nets? this will be my very first year on the lobster. cant wait to be absolutely clueless as to what i'm doing!

They're pretty much the same to me, I need to check my card but I think I've landed equal amounts of lobster in both style nets. there's pros and cons to each style of nets, some are easier to carry but will get caught or hung up on almost anything that's on the yak (those would be the flat ones) and some are easier to handle but are sort-a bulky (these would be the eclipse). If I were you I'd buy one of each to start and go from there, buy them used if possible.
