I lived in San luis obispo for 4 year while going to cal poly. I fished leffingwell on numerous occasions and everytime I fishing there, I had always had that creepy JAWS like feeling. The central coast waters are cold, dark and creepy, but great fishing...

Meanwhile, in Cape Cod....

ORLEANS – A shark sighting off of Nauset Beach caused an evacuation of the water and closed the beach to swimming Saturday afternoon.
The sighting was reported just after 2 p.m., according to Orleans Harbormaster Dawson Farber. The great white shark is an estimated 12 to 14 feet long, he said.
“We had everyone exit the water,” Farber said.

Once his team confirmed the sighting by boat, they decided to keep the beach closed for swimming for the rest of the day.
