Monday in SD Bay

Launched the PA @ 7 (Shelter Island) and hauled ass out to the bait barge. I ended up with 3 Fattie Grumpies and 3 of these (a few small ones released and I lost a huge Flattie). I hit two of my favorite spots and got chewed on allot until I ran out of bait.

I know It's kind of hard to tell how big they are so for reference the picnic table is 30" wide.

It was a nice, calm & quiet day and they were biting I felt like I had the Bay all to myself .

Anyway; I usually get every other Monday off and I like to hit the Bay on those days.

If you can get a Monday off and want to Fish just shoot me a PM and we'll meet up at Shelter Island and we'll go get 'em

Awesome! I'm off every monday. I think I'm booked up for two weeks from now doing a cattle boat to Coronado, but after that it would be great to get out.

Very nice catch! I would love to pull in 3 legals in a day! I may be out there next monday. So if you see a 10' Boston Whaler with a sticker that says "Chiqita Ballena" say hi.

I'm Still woking on getting used to Fluoro leaders and braided lines after crossing over in the last year or so. I've been a loyal mono user for years and I'm thinking I might just be dialing it all in with the right reel and rod set ups.

One thing for sure though....is that Circle Hooks are the ticket

Thank you guys for the nice comments and compliments. I lurked here for quite awhile before logging on and signing up.

Fisherman usually tend to be good people who understand Depths those who don't Fish can never comprehend or relate to.
