I have two halibuts in that range under my belt...
the first was 40.5" and weighed 27.5 lbs... the next was 42.5" and weighed 30 lbs... So I'd say depending on how fat he was, a 41"er should be 28-30lbs... give er take...

Now that is hot, new kayak and PB on the 1st trip out. Congratulaions. Looks like a solid 25 lbs+, upper limit guess judging by the photos 32 lbs.
