Looking for a starter fishing kayak

Hello, I have been fishing my whole life and I was wanting to invest in a kayak so I can get to some of the spots I can only see action at right now. I would be using it on a relatively small lake (about 150 acres) and would have to carry it myself for about 100 yards so I don't need anything too big. I am on a tight budget as well, probably under $400. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on what to get and I would be very interested in anyone selling one in the atlanta area or lake Lanier area. Thanks.

X2!!! Got my wife one about 3 months ago and she's in love with it!
Very light, very stable, and plenty of room for her and out dog.
And for places I cant get my PA down to the water its a great thing for solo fishing!!

Just search Malibu kayak, you will find them.

I noticed those two were in California I live in Georgia so I can't see those posts and couldn't pick them up. Maybe not as many people are into it in Georgia because I can't find anything even when I just search Malibu kayaks.

I think craigs list is the way to go because you dont have to worry about shipping so I could just watch for one to come up unless you guys have any other suggestions.

For 650 you could get a Brand new with lifetime warranty Mini-X in your choice of color shipped to GA from us. May be worth thinking about, not a lot more money to have a new kayak with that warranty.
