No way! Nice to meet ya Walt. I'm fishing off a kayak, I think the length is fine thanks for the offer. I was sold on the rod the second I saw the iron man theme hah hah.

Fishin kid, that's exactly what I did to remove it. Took it easy with the dremel and razor blade. Riverside has no tackle shops worth speaking of so while I'm in San Diego fishing this weekend I'll pop into one to check out my options, nab some cork and tuna cord and practice my basket weave.
