Lil sister is on fire

I know its not on a kayak but i cant fit the whole family on a tarpon 160 so we took the boat out. Got an early start on the water by 6(early for 3 women). Hit the bait barge for nice dines and went to the coronado bridge for some flatties. within 5 minutes my sister hooks a 40lb mud marlin on 12lb mono and lands it! Nothing but spotties for a while so we hit the whistler buoy for some taco meat and did pretty well. Headed back towards the bridge and got two shorts on one drift, then two legals the next. I caught both shorts of course, and my sister lands her 7th legal within the last few months. Im super proud of her she cant wait till she gets a little better on the kayak so she can make the paddle to la jolla.

Yeah I was pissed that day lmao that's why he's buying me the outback lol I didn't catch a f--king thing all day. I drift way to fast in the one Ive got. When we packed up we went over by the boat launch and I still didn't catch anything lol but owell there are plenty of other days to catch fish that day I just got a workout!

It was hilarious i wish i had a video of it. She had her rod in a vertical rod holder when she got bit and it immediately started screaming line while her rod was bent in a U-shape over the rail ha.Good thing she had an ugly stick ha
