Central Coast Report (Kids day)

This was a fun day with the kids of Jurrasic sport fishing. They came out getting bent and wet. Cee got down on a nice fish and then called it quits. The real story is my 6 year old Godson Nelly getting bent on this nice Cabezon in a foot of water. Didnt even realize he was on until we looked over to him and hes holding it up hit lure with the cabezon on it. Landed it by himself and had a good day. Good job to the kid sensation.

Vinny assures himself years of fishing passes from the wife. "Honey, I'm doing it for the kids!"

Way to get the little guy hooked.

I need to come up your way. I noticed you are always fishing those big rocks. Do you fish them when the tide comes up or down, or does it matter? How deep are those little pools?

The tide for this area has to be at low tide, if it was high tide we would be at least 12ft underwater. Here on the central coast the tides just dictate how we fish, at high tide we post up up a little higher or even just get in the yaks and head to open water and in the lower tides we hit the pockets from 1ft of water to 12ft. Biggest thing to remember is if your not wet your not fishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's pretty cool. I am going up to San Fran area in May with the wife and kid. They wanna see the redwoods. I plan on hitting the coast and taking a nice long scenic route home and do a little fishing from shore.
