That was my fourth trip in my new kayak. I was out of work for a while and sold off most my fishing stuff to pay bills. No one wanted to buy my old jigmaster. Its my lucky reel and its still landing fish.
I didn't have a game clip so I had to pin the fish in my lap with my gaff. I looked like an ax murder walking to the parking lot to get my car all covered in blood, even down to the maniacal grin on my face.
I know this isn't "new school" but I love my jigmaster and use everytime out, I have 100% confidence in it that it won't fail me mechanically.
