New to the West Coast, Looking to get out an fish!

Hey everyone, so I'm an experienced kayak angler from the east coast, mostly striped bass, blues, some football tuna and fluke/flounder. I just moved out here and would like to meet up with some people, and learn the ropes.

Most importantly, I'm not looking for anyone to spot burn and give up there favorite spots, however the launch map database isn't up and working, and I've been told this isn't exactly the place to be a pioneer with all the dangerous rocks and stuff in the area, mostly around la jolla. I'm looking to just get out and get wet, maybe do some halibut fishing while I learn the area.

I'm working with a stealth 12, with the live well up and running, a gps/fish finder combo, and some trevala 7' and 6'6" paired with saragosa 4000F's.

If anyone is interested in maybe taking me under their wing, or just pointing me in the right direction of a good place to launch with some fish in the area, It would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Neill
