Kayak Conger Caper
Hi - I'm new here - I live in the UK and love looking at other kayak fishing sites around the world. Hoping to learn alot and perhaps swap a few ideas from across the pond.
In the UK, we have a fish called a conger eel. They are really tough and can swim backwards which usually means a really good scrap. They can grow to 100 lbs+, but generally they are alot smaller. In the autumn I had a really good session for them in the fast flowing muddy waters of the Bristol Channel. I thought you might like to see the video (apologies - I don't know how to embed a Youtube video)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FDqIUQPRIA Enjoy ! Dizzy. |
