Sac Reef Calicos and Cedros Yellows - Video

Jared and I took a 7-day mothership trip down to baja at the end of June on the Q105. We caught several calicos that broke the 8 pound threshhold on MC Slugs and swimbaits and the biggest yellows for each of us on the surface iron were both 38 pounders. On the last day of fishing on the trip, I pulled the hook on a really big yellow, it looked like a seal when it smashed my iron on the surface...

Sac Reef and Cedros Island are incredible areas and if you are looking to catch the calico or YT of a lifetime, these are the places to go. Take plenty of plastic and surface irons!

I am not sure if this video has been posted on the site yet, but here is a look at some of the action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6xYK9txrpk

Other than that, I haven't fished locally in months, so I hope all of you guys/gals have been pulling on some good fish!
