Green Emeralds & Yellow Sapphires /The Crown Jewels
Fin bait was super scarce?.. Well, ..the good kind was...
I filled my tank with the damn spanish, but to no avail I couldn't get a taker on them all day?.. i busted my ass jiggin bait for 1 & a half hours in direct headwinds with only squat-jacks to show for.. Kurt was kind enough to give a shout when he located the primo verde.. I quickly managed two precious 7" gems, but they were all that I needed.. When I finially landed them on the sabiki, it was as if I just caught a thirty six # Dorado!.. Woooo Hooooo Greeny!!!! You can have the latest & greatest gear, the stealthiest & fastest plastic machine on the planet, but without the most important final detail to diet, your doing jack squat on that blown out day.. I threw em in the back of the bus with the jacks to quarrel for some time..Made it out far enough around the bend & my Spidey senses went berserker?!!?.. "Pin his dinner on NOW" my invisible friend tells me..free-spooled it back sixty + yards, set the clicker & thirty or so seconds later... its zip-zip-ZiperoOOo-time.."ZZzzzzzzzzzZZ"..Sing me that sweet song, Sealine, sing!....Whamo! Hook-up!!!!!!!!!!.. Finally my first fish that took me into some kelp, and I was able to test out just what the hell a kelp-cutter rig feels like popping!...pop-pop-POP! (I still want to get buried by a in the middle of the forest, just to see who wins that 1..) "Every day is a Fishing day... But not a catching day, So... If your basket empty, Mr. Fisherman, hear what I say!.... Row Your Boat!! Row Mr. Fisherman... From the Shores..." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57onZn5re20 *&.... Same day, minutes after gaffing the first, my invisible friend now tells me to quickly paddle out to one twenty & whip out my last million dollar greenie from outta the aerated safety deposit box & continue heading out a bit deeper in search of something larger & very edible to release.. "Here fishy, fishie, fishy..????" Thirty minutes pass, and I'm off into the sunset courtesy of Mr. Seriola.. Ten minutes later,... I grab the motor and put my first yellowtail in a headlock!? (which also just so happens to be my new personal best to date!!) I had to reach in deep on the roof of his hard mouth to flick the Owner Gorilla off..Held him up for you all to enjoy, and let him to go to enjoy another meal.. See you in five years time buddy,..only then I won't be so kind..Till we meet again, O' sweet Kama King... *(Fyi-video below is same 1 from "hand release" thread, just wanted to give the whole days account..)* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BpPrKZWSl4 ____________________________ Photographer: Nick/ Tamarack Studios
