I found Danny's hali hole!

Dana Pt. Wed- otw at 6:30 seeking Danny's hali haven (see submission last week). Very overcast, drizzles, moderate swell, little wind, water temp 67*F. Started fishing at 7:00. Landed a sheephead at 7:10 and a hali (26") at 7:30. Met Ray and had another hali (27") by 8. C&R'ed a couple sandies and headed back in at 10:30. Thousands of Pacific Mackeral (greenies) were chasing smaller baits and the water was boiling 50yds in every direction. Both hali's were very gravid females that were ready to spawn. Thank goodness Danny left a few smaller ones for the rest of us!
