father's day dinner

we hit up some water a just a little farther north than La Jolla (3 hours farther)...
Launched at County Line to some really
close interval sets that were rollin' in on after the other...
we knew we had to take one in the face on the way out...
and that we did...thank God for Goretex...
man I love that place...so many different fishies to play with....
calico...
sheep head...
sandbass...
johnnybass...
lingcod...
gopher rockfish...
reds...
chuckleheads...
yummy brown rockfish (and big ones, too)....
oh and let us not forget....
Halibut, the other white meat!
some shots from the day...
I was lazy with the camera and only took these shots...

and my first legal of the year...not a monster...but thick...
oh yeah 24" 6 lbs of yummy father's day dinner...
it's the simple things in life!
