Kayaking Mission Bay

From the name of this site, I'm thinking this might not be the place for this post - let me know if it is. I do plan to get out at La Jolla some morning this summer.

Went out to Mission Bay for my 2nd outing - did mostly paddling and trolling. Hooked up on a short barracuda with a Rapala. Was out for about 2.5 hours.

Waves were way more choppy than I expected for the bay, and more than last week - wind was way up too - but it was still fun to be out there. Did have two Hobie Cats run over my line while trolling. Partially my fault as I cut across the channel. Thought I was going to loose my line completely, but they just bumped and caused a momentary bend in the rod.
