Jig Casting rod recommendations

After a lot of reading the various posts on what was used to catch yellowtails, I am realizing I need a longer rod then the longest I currently have (7') to be able to throw jigs a good distance. It seems a rod in the 8' length is a good starting point.

Can anyone recommend a manufacturer and model? Searching the various manufacturers, such as Shimano, Seeker, Calstar, they all seem to have rods in this length and for casting, so it is hard to narrow down a choice; some are more expensive then others, but I hate to choose solely on price.

Thanks in advance for any information.
