Catapalooza 09 my view
CATAPALOOZA 2009;
I had a great time, My life needs yak fishing bad... the serenity is priceless Spent many hours on the water and caught lots of fish, no wsb or yellows but a few legal Halibut, and a new personal best calico. Bunch of very cool kayak fishermen, got to put alot of faces to names, and meet new guys who share the yak fishing passion A passion we all need to fight for if we hope to enjoys these waters of ours in the near future!!!! BIG THANKS TO THE ICEMAN!!! for putting it all together! Thanks to Aaron for the ride (again :mrgreen: ) Thanks to John for getting the food stuff Thanks to Ron for the Squid Thanks to Brian for the live candy (and Blair, Aaron and John for your work at night) Thanks to Bing for calling me over to the WSB bite And Thanks to Yakrider for not ramming my kayak harder than he did :shock: if I wasnt so in the zone and tired I woulda chit my pants :mrgreen: Alot has been said about Catapalooza 2009 I will let these pictures do the rest of my talking....(alot of talking ) Ready to roll: My first fish, just outside Cat Harbor: More fishies: How can you beat this?... God's creation is Good!!! Under it all: Some of the boyz on the water: Way to Go Andy!: The mad rammer: (pay backs a bitch :mrgreen: ) And this guy... hung out with me for about an hour... rubbed his belly on the bottom of my yak a few times then bumpped my foot for fun: About 23" long... the p.b tripped when I let him go... My Trident... she hates land! Boyz being boyz on the way home: Yep He Fished HARD!: Can't Wait till next year! P.S. Moyer you still owe me a hug and I will looking for the stuff chicken on the menu next year |
