Kelp Fishing Corona Del Mar South
Was nice to be back on the water after a couple months hiatus. I was eagerly anticipating a scoop of bait from the barge but was disappointed to see an empty harbor entrance. Hopefully it will be back soon.
Made the most of it by catching a few pieces of bait with the sabiki and with my 'plan B' bag of shrimp, ended up with a few Calicos a Sheephead and a smaller Slime Stick. I've never fished that stretch of the coast before. Very beautiful and rugged. Looking forward to exploring a little farther down next time. Those sandy coves look like prime Halibut territory https://youtu.be/9P4ZrrHpxIw
