Lithium batteries (LiFePO4) are much more forgiving of high drains. Much more forgiving of bad treatment. Often have built-in battery management systems (BMS) which will shut down the battery for over/under charging rather than just letting them die, which AGM batteries do when mistreated.

They are significantly more expensive, but there are some good bargain brands out there. I'm currently using a Power Queen 10Ah to power my Lorance Hook Reveal 5. I haven't been able to get it below 13v even after 6 hour+ days.

I have a "hobby" solar power system at my house with 600 watts of panels. I ran three 100Ah AGM batteries for a couple of years. Last year I switched to a single 200Ah LiFePO4 battery and get about twice the useable power from the battery once the sun goes down. And it gets to full charge faster than the AGM's did.
