Those MotherF*%$ing paddle bungee hook/posts
It occurs to me I've now ripped a pair of leggings, waders, dry pants, and wetsuit while exiting my kayak very quickly in big surf.
The culprit is always that little hook (or on my hobie the mushroom shaped post) that the paddle strap goes into, as I kind of swivel as I throw my legs out and stand up. Does this only happen to me? Has anyone else contended with this and found a solution? It usually happens when I'm indisposed and exhausted, so I never really think to do anything about it.
