Launched after work to small surf and clear water. Kelp strands showing 15-25' below my transducer were clearly visible. Lots of bird action just west of the boundary turned out to be short cuda and calico pushing anchovy up. Bait was sparse but bonito showed again if you're into that kind of thing.

On a side note, tried out the transducer through the scupper instead of over the side with the RAM arm last time and compared it to my inhull transducer. Scupper is by far my favorite of the three on the oasis which does not have the lowrance-ready mount.
