Curious if anyone here has tried to rig a single island AMA to a PA14? Seen a few people in Florida do it on youtube.

Seems like it would be nice to have a little more space (w/ trampoline) out on the water

Requires a little bit of mod work, but big question for me is getting in and out of the surf ... paranoid that if you get slightly off from 90 degrees when a wave hits the AMA is going to plant in the sand and snap the AKAs?

Also curious if anyone has done it without an outboard, or if that is a must?
