Cabrillo 11-15-19
I wasn't sure if I was going to pull this trip off but everything came together and I was able to make it down to Cabrillo for a late start at 8.
Water was 61-62 degrees. Cool and calm in the morning with the afternoon breeze picking up around 2. Fish were willing in the AM. Slowed down around noon. There were a few with some nice size. The bigger fish were on motor oil with red flake tube bait but about half the fish were caught on a Big Hammer perch grub of the same color. Final count: 1 sheephead 1 copper rockfish 3 sand bass 10 calico bass Last edited by tak100; 11-16-2019 at 11:21 PM. |
