NPH On the New Ride 5/12/19
When the cover on my Creek Company ODC 420 float tube split and I could not get a response or a replacement from a company which did have excellent telephone support, a friend lent me a Caddis but on my way home I bought a Hobie Compass yak for fly fishing with as little as possible to stick out for the fly line to catch on and this baby is it.
Took it out to Newport harbor yesterday for the maiden voyage and even tho the fishing was sloooooowwww, and ot was a bit lumpy at the harbor entrance, I think I'm gping to like this. Fishing the docks and the pontoons will take a bit of practice when a good tide is running even with the reverse drive and taking pics is more challenging than in the tube but a few Calicos said hello at the bait barge and some Spotties joined in at the CGS. Recovery day(s) for the gluts which are a bit sore today from 8 hours leg action New wheels Happy Mothers Day from the NPH Calicos And Spotties |
