Repeat On SD Bay? - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Was hoping to repeat the magic on the SD Bay like last Saturday. Went to my spot at the lower range marker and caught a spottie. Pedaled out to the Jetty leaving Fishinmike around the ammo pier. Within minutes of getting to last weeks spot off the Jetty my pedal drive chain snapped. Thought it’s only 7:30 I will ride the tide in. Problem was I was taken out farther. Won’t need to work upper body weights.

Definitely not a repeat.

Fishinmike - 1 Sandie
Bubbacee - 1 spottie
My eldest and I will be taking in a UCLA softball game next weekend so have 2 weeks to make repairs.
